Our team has a unique understanding of the risk around skilled labor shortages to our community. Each student, unemployed contractor, or lost individual that we uplift strengthens our parish. Often, it is not enough to simply provide financial assistance. Practical examples of success are required.
The Jackson Foundation is uniquely positioned to select and support hard-working individuals pursuing education in the industrial and construction trade disciplines as well as those pursuing four-year degrees. Through our mission, we change the dynamics of our community. We lift the underprivileged with our outreach and awareness campaigns.

We provide opportunities for community service through food and clothing drives and charity events.
Our mission is to identify individuals that have the right aptitude, but are in need of support to pursue a career in STEM or Skilled Labor Trade disciplines in the River parishes. We do not simply provide aid. We mentor recipients in a very real and personable way so that they strengthen our community while addressing the skilled labor shortage in the area.

There are more at-risk youth, under-employed workers and opportunities than one would initially suspect. Our group has intimate knowledge of the Construction, and Chemical Industries as well as the Legal and Judicial system. It is in those crossroads that we effectively change lives, one at a time.
Our vision is to create a world where every student with a passion for skilled labor, or STEM has the opportunity to pursue their best self, regardless of their life and/or financial circumstances. We strive to empower these individuals through mentorship and the resources they need to succeed in their chosen field, while promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising cancer awareness in the community.
